We got great services and a good quality, air conditioned room. The vegetarian breakfast was hearty. The hotel was in a central location down to the lake.

The food is excellent, appreciated vegetarian breakfast. The deluxe double room overlooks garden and includes an electric kettle, refrigerators, and glassware. The location is wonderful and incredible, in a quiet and peaceful area. And it's nestled in an absolutely charming building so close to the charming front garden and the centre of Windermere.

Fully equipped place, fairly clean, excellent value. Very comfy bed in the deluxe queen room, plus an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. Excellent staff and hearty and hot breakfast with a lot of options. The service was amazing here. Fab, stunning location to the lakeside. Also - just off the lake, shops and restaurants.

Had comfortable stay for two nights in the Cranny studio cottage. A design double room with a scenic view of beautiful gardens, had requested this in advance. An electric kettle, a fridge, and glassware were an advantage. The location turned out to be great and amazing, not far from the lakes, Lake Windermere itself and one of the best viewing points in Windermere.

There were big size & airy rooms with a very comfortable bed as well as great facilities. The personnel was accommodating, and the owner too.

Nice experience there. Lovely welcoming and quaint accommodation with wonderful setting close enough to Bowness and Windermere. Very very nice staff and quick to respond. Having central heating, an iron, and coffee and tea making facilities in our big room. A wide range of goodies for breakfast.

Fairly clean and wonderful old place, has magnificent views of beautiful gardens. Knowledgeable and excellent staff as one would expect. The units are top-notch, extremely pleasant.

Sumptuous breakfast with food like muffins and slices of fresh bread. Perfect and magnificent location close to the town centre, lovely restaurants in the local area.

We liked this traditional hotel, nothing too much trouble. The breakfast had variety of options and toast, cereals and slices of fresh bread were delightful. Everything met requirements, had a good stay on holiday.

Had a comfortable stay which made my birthday weekend amazing, everything was exceptional. I was offered an awesome breakfast with additional yummy muffins for the daily walk. This hotel was located in a central area next to local shops and restaurants, Orrest Head and entire Lake District & ferry docks in Bowness-on-Windermere. Plus, a modernised 3-screen cinema was at a moderate distance from the venue.

I had a big and airy room with spa bath and everything was excellent. The hotel's position was marvellous, next to Windermere, Bowness and the surrounding area, local shops and restaurants and Really close to the lakes. I checked out The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, that was set at a medium distance from the property.

Rooms were fabulous, well done!

The breakfast was enjoyable and included. The staff and the host were all very-very nice. This hotel was set in a central area just next door to centre, entire Lake District & ferry docks and a charming garden. Btw, it was relatively close to Mv Swift.
